Built first grid scale Battery Energy Storage Systems in ERCOT in 2019.

CFO

20 years of experience as an energy and finance executive.  Previously served as a CFO of Rigid Constructors, a heavy civil and marine construction company actively developing large energy infrastructure projects along the Gulf Coast and co-founder of Daylight Energy, an energy technology startup. Prior to these roles, Mr. Griffin was an Investment Banking Managing Director at Piper Sandler he advised energy companies on more than $15 Bn of transactions. Mr. Griffin is a Chartered Financial Analyst and received an MBA in Finance and Investment Management and a BBA in Business Honors from The University of Texas. While at UT, Mr. Griffin was awarded the William V. Campbell Trophy, (Academic Heisman.)

Nuclear Engineer

Founder and Principal of Colwell & Associates with over 30 years of experience in power generation, transmission, and utility operations. Began career at San Antonio’s CPS Energy, where he directed large-scale generation planning, nuclear asset management, and fuel procurement strategy. Later served in senior operating roles at South Texas Project (STP) Nuclear Operating Company, overseeing performance, compliance, and maintenance initiatives across the dual-unit 2.7 GW facility. Recognized for deep operational expertise bridging municipal and investor-owned utilities, regulatory engagement, and lifecycle management of nuclear and thermal generation assets
